Although this manual is a separate document from the operation manual, as it describes items that must be
understood by the customer, be sure to store this manual in a secure location together with the operation manual.

Move the chair to the installation location.
2.
Attach the rubber ring to the base.
Determine the installation location. Lift the base off the floor and attach the rubber ring to the rim of the base.
3.
If assembling together with the Yume Swing bowl:
Lock rotation at the Yume Swing setting position where the Yume Swing position setting and the bowl position are optimally aligned. At
that position, manually align the positions of the chair and bowl, and set the preset setting. After completing the setting, return the chair to
its original position by using the auto-return switch, and use the preset switch to check the set position.
4.
Provide power to the chair.
Prepare a 230-V AC (7 A or more*) outlet with an attached ground terminal. The chair must absolutely be grounded in order to prevent
electric shock. *220-V AC (7 A or more), 240-V AC (7 A or more), 120-V AC (12 A or more), 110-V AC (12 A or more)
5.
Install the step.
1.
Raise the legrest. (Refer to "Raising the legrest" on page 14 of the operation manual for the legrest raising procedures.)
2.
Holding the step fixture against the positioning stoppers, attach the step fixture to the guide, and securely insert the nuts on the
underside of the step into the two (three for independent legrest type) insertion holes.

Installation Procedures
Remove the chair from the wood box. Raise the chair
off the floor by holding the metal plate under the foot
switch (do not hold the plastic parts). Move the chair by
holding the base and body, or the metal plate of the
foot switches. Do not hold the chair by the skirt.
Carrying the chair by the upper part is dangerous
because the base could come off and drop.

Precautions when extending the adjuster
Adjust the adjuster so that the power cord is not caught or pulled, and the chair does not rub on the floor when
rotating the chair with someone seated in it. Failure to follow this caution can result in an unexpected accident
or damage to the floor.
