Scanning a group of channels 53

When background scan is active, you can scroll through
the channel list to see which channel is a member of
your background scan group. When the channel is a
group member, the scanning symbol
includes a tick.
Note:
The function key programmed to activate your
background scan group may be programmed so that a
short key press activates background scan and a long
key press activates nuisance delete.
Adding a channel to your background
scan group
1 Press the function key that activates
background scan.
The scanning symbol appears in the display:
2 Scroll through the list of channels until the channel
that you want to add appears.
3 Press the nuisance delete key and this channel is
now added to your background scan group.
The message Channel added appears in the display
and the scanning symbol now includes a tick:
