You can receive or make a call while the radio is in the
charger. If you do remove the radio from the charger to
answer a call, the call will not be disrupted.

Note:

Removing the radio from the charger to make or

receive a call ends the charging process. Charging safely
recommences when the radio is reinserted into
the charger.
