Choosing a dialing mode
This feature is only available for radios with an alphanumeric
keypad.
The DTMF dialing mode can be either ‘normal’ or ‘buffered’.
■
Normal:
Each character in DTMF string is transmitted as the
key is pressed.
■
Buffered:
The DTMF string is transmitted after all the
characters in the string have been entered.
To select normal or buffered dialing:

Long press
to enter menu mode.

Short press
to change to either buffered or normal dialing.

Short press twice to exit menu mode.
Changing the signaling used on a channel
You may be able to change the signaling used on a channel. This
enables you to communicate with a different group of users on the
same channel. The change may be permanent or may be reset
after you restart the radio.
To change the signaling used on a channel:
