STEP 4.
When the cuff is positioned correctly, pull the end of the
cuff to tighten the cuff snugly around your upper arm. You should
be able to fit your index finger between the cuff and your arm.
STEP 5.
Press the hook material firmly against the pile material.
The top and bottom edges of the cuff should be tightened evenly
around your upper arm.
Testing Your Blood Pressure
STEP 1.
Sit down for at least 10
minutes before measuring.
STEP 2.
Place your elbow on
a table or other object. Relax your
hand with the palm facing up.
STEP 3.
Relax and make sure
the cuff is at the same height as
your heart. Press the
button.
Remain still and do not talk or move
during the measurement.
STEP 4.
Measurement is in
progress.
After power on, all the LCD dis-
play symbols will appear with a
long “beep” sound. Then cuff be-
gins to inflate automatically.
