Changing local time
To set local time, pull out the crown to position
3
and turn it in order to make the hands rotation in an
anti-clockwise direction
(arrow B).
Due to the clearance between the gears of the movement, when turning the crown in order to make
the hands rotation in an anti-clockwise direction
(arrow B),
first set the time at the desired time
minus 15 minutes.
For example:
desired time is 10 h 10. Go to 9 h 55 by turning the crown in order to make the hands
rotation in an anti-clockwise direction
(arrow B).
Then directly go to 10 h 10 by turning the crown in order to make the hands rotation in a clockwise
direction
(arrow A).
In that way the gears are engaged and the rotating GMT system is instantaneously precise.
If this operation is not done the rotating GMT system will not turning during the 15 first minutes
but will then be precise and at the right time.
Do not forget: ALWAYS push the crown back to position 1 then screw* it down in position
0.
