proportional, integral and differential values of the
temperature readings are used to cycle on and off the

Room temperature control with weather compen-
sation (modulating heaters)
tado° is connected to a modulating heater. The heater
may have an outside temperature sensor but is not
required. tado° uses remotely obtained outside tem-
perature readings to modulate the flow temperature
of the heater. tado° monitors the room temperature
and includes the reading in the modulating control of
the heater.

tado° is connected to an on/off output heater. The
heater is connected to an outside temperature sensor
which adjusts the flow temperature according to out-
side temperature readings. tado° monitors the room
temperature and cycles the boiler on and off.

Room temperature control with multiple sensors
(modulating heaters)
At least three Smart Thermostats are connected to a
modulating heater. tado° measures an individual room
temperature per Smart Thermostat and modulates the
flow temperature of the heater according to deviation
from setpoint.
