Advanced pane, Quality of Service tab

The 

Quality

 

of

 

Service

 tab allows you to request a specific transport service for audio, 

video and signaling traffic.

There are two types of services:

„

GQoS

 - available for audio and video.

„

DSCP

 (also known as ToS) - available for audio, video and signaling.

In a network that has the default configuration, the recommended value for audio is 
46, because “46” is the standard marking for audio. If bandwidth is available when the 
call is placed, it will be reserved for the call, possibly resulting in better audio service.

This tab is intended for use by system administrators only. Changing settings 
inappropriately could cause Coral SeaBeam to malfunction.
