CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
Regularly wipe the ear cups, cushions and headband clean using a soft, damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or solvents.
Turn the ear cups facing outwards to dry if they are moist on the inside.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION:
Always store the product in the original packaging and away from any sources of direct heat, sunlight and rain.
When stored ensure the headband is not stretched (applies to headband version)
and the cushions are not compressed as this may damage the product.
When transporting use original packaging, Check packaging for further information.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
CHARGING EARMUFF:
Before use, charge the earmuff using the included micro USB charging
cable on power off, connect earmuff to a USB port for approximately 5
hours. When the battery is full , the red working LED goes out. The LCD
screen shows as full too when power on.
GETTING STARTED:
1. Turn the [Volume/On-Off] clockwise to power on the earmuff.
2.Press the [Mode] to switch between DAB+ / FM Radio /
Bluetooth modes.
3.Adjust the volume as needed on earmuff using the dial.
4.Turn the [Volume/On-Off] counter-clockwise to
power off the earmuff.
DAB / DAB+ MODE:
1.Power on the earmuff and select DAB+ mode using the [Mode].
2.Then press the [LIS/Phone] to auto-scan for DAB+ station, the detected station will be saved to the device.
3.Press [Select Down]/ [Select Up] to switch between saved DAB+ stations.
4.Press [Mode] more than 3 seconds, enter into setting menu, press [Select Down]/ [Select Up] to select A) Manual scan B)
DRC(Dynamic range control for better sound) C) Prune (delete invalid stations) D) System, press [Mode] to enter into, press
[Select Down]/ [Select Up] to select, press [Mode] again to confirm, finally press [Mode] more than 3 seconds to quit the menu.
5.On System menu, press [Select Down]/ [Select Up] to select A) Set backlight B) Factory reset C) SW version, press [Select
Down]/ [Select Up] to select, press [Mode] to confirm, finally press [Mode] more than 3 seconds to quit the menu.
6.On set backlight menu, press [Select Down]/ [Select Up] to select A) Timeout B)Dim level, press [Select Down]/ [Select Up] to
select, press [Mode] to confirm, finally press [Mode] more than 3 seconds to quit the menu.
Note: 1. Earmuff will hold all scanned station without searching again next time.
2. Earmuff will hold the last used station to enjoy next time when you power on it.
BLUETOOTH MODE:
1.Open Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
2.Power on the earmuff and select Bluetooth mode.
3.In your Bluetooth device’s setting, selected “TACTIX-488132” and connect.
4.Once paired, bluetooth logo stops flicking, and the earmuff plays music if you have opened the player already.
5.Press the [LIS/Phone] to play/pause the music.
6.Press the [Select Down]/[Select Up] to skip forward/backwards between songs.
Notes: 1. Turn off the earmuff on bluetooth mode, it also goes into bluetooth mode when you turn on it.
2. Listen music on Bluetooth mode, change to other mode, it will play music by itself when you back to the
bluetooth mode
RECEIVING PHONE CALLS:
While the Bluetooth earmuff is paired with your smart phone, answer an incoming call by pressing [LIS/Phone].
To end the call, press again the [LIS/Phone].
488132 is a protection ear muff with electronic function of Bluetooth, FM, DAB, DAB+, Listening(LIS) function, meets
EN352-1:2002, EN352-4:200 1 + A1:2005, EN352-6:2002, EN352-8:2008 requirement.
This product is intended use Electronics earmuff with PP bracket and soft PVC cushion for hearing impaired workers to
safe the user for hearing lose, in the noise environment (for example >85dB), the device can protect the wearer not get
hurt in proper use. In normal environment (the sound<85dB), the wearer can hear the surrounding sounds and voice

SAFETY:
• Warning: Do not use ear defenders whilst driving a vehicle in traffic, it can affect your concentration and lead to an
accident. Remember to always remove the ear defenders when cycling, walking, crossing roads, at railway crossings,
or in other situation requiring your full attention.
• Radio reception can vary depending on your location, movements, terrain, obstacles, etc.
• Radio reception is sensitive to electrical devices being turned on and off and this will be audible if you nearby such
devices.
• Never subject the product to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture. Bear in mind that
a car left in the summer sun can become very hot. Never leave the product where it could be subjected to high
temperatures or direct sunlight, such as on a car dashboard or windowsill. The recommended storage temperature of
the product is -20 to +45ºC.
• Heat can impair the performance of the radio built into the ear defenders.
• Before use, make sure that the ear cushions are whole and form a tight seal against your head.
• Never use the product in extremely dry environments where static electricity easily occurs.
• Use the ear defenders the entire time that you are exposed to a noisy environment.
• Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type, dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
• The ear muffs should be fitted, adjusted and maintained acc. the information of the manufacturer.
• The ear muffs should be regularly inspect for the necessity of maintenance
• Failure to follow the recommendations will seriously impair the protective effect of the earmuffs
• This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances and further information should be sought from
the manufacturer

ADJUSTING THE FIT:
1. Brush any hair off your ears, remove any earrings, pull the ear cups apart and
place them over your ears
2. Position the ear cups so that the cushions form a tight seal around ears. Make
sure that no hair comes between the cushions and your head.
3. Adjust the headband, Hold the headband down against your head with one
hand and push the ear cups up until they sit comfortably over your ears
4. The headband should rest on the top of your head and the ear cups should
completely cover your ears
Note: The effectiveness of the ear defenders could be diminished by the temples of
spectacles if they are worn under the ear cups.
CHANGING THE CUSHIONS:
1. Take off the cushions from the base.
2. Fixe the new cushions (set cushion’s edge into base’s locks with your fingernail ).
3. Check the cushion to see is there any turn up, and ensure the cushions
are fixed on the base well.
Note: ear muffs and in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and
should be regularly checked for cracking and leakage if hygiene covers
are fitted to the cushions it may affect the acoustic performance of the
ear muffs the replaceable cushions are able to get from the manufacturer.
