Electric current
DANGER!
Danger to life due to electric power!
There is an immediate risk of fatal electric shock if
live components are touched. Damage to the insula-
tion of the individual components can be fatal.
– Have all work on the electrical equipment per-
formed by skilled electricians.
– In the event of damage to the insulation, cut off
the power supply immediately and initiate
repairs.
– Before working on live components of electrical
systems and equipment, de-energise these
components and secure them in this state for
the duration of the work. Adhere to the following
safety rules in this regard:
– Disconnect.
– Secure against restart.
– Verify that components have been de-ener-
gised.
– Ground and short-circuit.
– Cover or shield any adjacent live compo-
nents.
– Never bypass or disable any fuses. Comply with
the correct amperage specification when
replacing fuses.
– Keep moisture away from all live components.
This may lead to short circuits.
