ASSEMBLY
The TK Jacketing Shear will come with mostly assembled. To save shipping volume, the legs,
horizontal supports, spring, spring support, and cage do not come pre-installed
1.
Install legs and horizontal supports.
a.
The table top will be delivered upside down
b.
While the table top is upside down match the legs with their corresponding
numbered corners 1,2,3, & 4.
c.
There will be numbered stickers and/or stamped numbers on the legs, horizontal
supports, and the table top
d.

Bolt the all four legs to the table top
f.
Bolt horizontal supports to legs

Flip the table over
a.
This is typically at least a two-person job
3.
Install the cage and spring support
a.
The cage attaches directly to the table top with four bolts, two on each side.
b.
The spring support is attached to the #2 leg with two bolts
4.
Install the spring
a.
Untie the blade from the table top
b.
Swing the blade to the topmost position
c.
Hook the spring on the blade’s middle hole
d.
Hook the spring on the spring support’s middle hole
e.
Adjust the spring tension by changing holes.
