8. Maintenance and Remedy of faults
Prior to any maintenance disconnect the power supply to all units immersed.
We are not responsible for any consequential damages what so ever or any damage
caused by misuse and tampering .Any inappropriate attempts to repair will lead to loss of
any guarantee claim.
Regular maintenance and careful cleaning extend the life of this unit and reduce the possible danger
with resultant operational faults.
8.1. Cleaning
Regularly rinse all components such as pump, telescopic tube and the spray jets under running water
to remove all coarse dirt and limescale.
8.2. Maintenance
Clean the rotor (7) and the pumpbody (8) regularly. Disassemble the pump by taking away the front
cover (5). Then pull the rotor out of its location (9). Wash under lukewarm water the front cover, the
rotor and the rotor chamber. Clean with a non metallic-brush such as toothbrush and rinse under
running water. Leave the pump and its components immersed in vinegar or lemon juice in case of
coarse dirt or limescale. Then assemble the rotor in the rotor chamber. Assemble the front cover onto
the pump.
The motor is completely encased with epoxy resin and protected from overheating and does not need
any maintenance.
