Front panel controls
With the front panel buttons all important functions of the PA 1000 E can be operated. All information about the operating
state of the PA 1000 E is displayed by the LED lamps above the buttons.
In the following sections the functions of the front panel controls and display LEDs are explained in detail.
On / Off switch



Pressing the

button briefly switches the device on and off. When the
unit is switched on the blue indicator above the button glows.


Caution!
The mains button is not a mains isolation switch. Even when the LED is not
glowing, some parts of the machine are still connected to mains voltage
(Standby operation).
If you know you will not be using the machine for a long period, we recommend
that you disconnect it from the mains by withdrawing the mains plugs from the
wall socket..
Source selection
To select one of the signal sources as the listening source, push the
corresponding button briefly. The LEDS above the source buttons indicate
which input is currently selected for listening.

The audio signals of the selected source device are present at the OUT sockets
of IN 5 and can be used for recording.
 
