When using this and other electrical appliances, the basic safety precautions listed should always be
followed:

Read all instructions before using the appliance.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Chrome surfaces become extremely hot.
•
To prevent against electrical hazards, do not immerse the cord, plug or toaster in water or other liquid.
•
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
•
Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
cleaning and handling.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after appliance malfunctions, or is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility. For
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

Do not use any unauthorized attachments. This will void the warranty and may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.

To disconnect, grasp plug and remove from outlet. Never unplug by pulling the cord.

Oversized foods. Metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they may
involve a risk of fire or electric shock.

Do not operate toaster near flammable materials such as curtains, wall fabric, etc.to prevent fire.
•
Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is plugged into electrical outlet.
