•
If the blade alignment is incorrect, add a few drops of oil to the blades, turn the clipper on for a few moments,
then turn it off and unplug it.
•
Loosen the screws slightly and then adjust. Tighten the screws after the blades are aligned.
OIL
•
To maintain your clipper in great condition, the blades should be oiled
every few haircuts.
•
Do not use hair oil, grease, oil mixed with kerosene or any solvent. A
solvent will evaporate and leave a thick oil, which may slow down the
blades motion.
POWER SCREW
•
The power screw permits you to adjust the power.
•
It has been adjusted before leaving the factory, however, if the
voltage in your home is low, you may need readjust it.
•
To adjust: use a screwdriver or a thin coin to turn the power screw
clockwise until the arm strikes the coil, making a noise. Then slowly
turn the power screw out (counter-clock-wise) until the noise has
stopped (maximum power setting).
ADJUSTABLE LEVER
•
The lever is conveniently located near your thumb (if you’re right-handed) so it
can easily be adjusted while the clipper is in your hand.
•
The level adds versatility to your clipper by allowing you to
gradually change the closeness of the cut without an attachment comb.
•
The higher the lever position is set, the shorter the hair cut will be. Pushing the
lever downwards will gradually increases the cutting length (for longer
haircuts).
•
In its lowest position the lever will leave the hair approximately the same length
as comb #1.
•
If hair has been jammed in between the blades, switching the lever positions will help remove the hair
without having to remove the two blades.
•
Swiftly move the lever from the highest position setting to the lowest a couple of times while the hair trimmer
is functioning in order to help keep the blades hair-free.
•
If this does not help and your clipper stops functioning, your blades are damaged and you will have to
replace them with new blades.
