The device connections for the air heater and the air cooler may
be assembled outside or inside the device depending on the unit
configuration. The exact positions of the air heater and air cooler
connections of the device are displayed on the unit drawing. The
unit drawing is fixed to the outside of the transport section of the
unit and can also be found in the operating manual; see example
Chapter 2.1.1 ‘Type of packaging’ on page 13
.
A control valve is optionally included in the scope
of delivery. For the installation and connection of
the control valve, follow the manufacturer's docu-
mentation.
On-site pipes must be designed and constructed
in such a way that external loads on the heat
exchanger, e.g. due to weight forces, vibrations,
distortions or thermal expansion, are avoided. Use
compensators if necessary.
Connect the on-site pipes in such a way that the
heat exchangers can be easily removed for main-
tenance or replacement purposes.
The connections for the air heater and air cooler are marked with
the following stickers:
The sticker (Fig. 22) marks the connection for the feed line of the
air heater.
The sticker (Fig. 23) marks the connection for the return line of the
air heater.
