Caution:
Static electricity can damage or destroy the adapter.

Do not open the anti-static package containing the adapter until you are instructed to
do so.
➔
Follow these handling instructions:
•
Put the anti-static package containing the adapter onto a metal expansion slot cover for at
least 2 seconds. This action reduces any static electricity from the package and from your
body.
•
Do not touch any exposed printed circuitry.
•
Do not place the adapter on the computer cover or a metal table.
•
Prevent other people from touching the adapter.
•
Limit your movement, because your movement can cause a buildup of static electricity.
•
Always handle the adapter carefully.
•
If you put the adapter down after you have removed it from the package, place the adapter
on the anti-static package on a flat surface.
•
We recommend you use anti-static wrist straps during installation. Connect them to the
computer chassis after you have removed the cover from the computer.
