Click the Genie into the panning accessory
firmly and check that the release slide is com-
pletely closed.
Orange warning print will be visible if it is not
attached correctly.
Once the Genie is in place, check that the bub-
ble level on the top is showing the air bubble in
the centre of the ring. This will ensure that your
shots will rotate perfectly flat.
To attach your camera to the top of the Ge-
nie you can either use a tripod head, or a ball
head.
Screw this down securely to the top of the Ge-
nie using the 3/8-16 UNC thread.
Now attach your camera to the top of the ball
head.
Using a Syrp Link cable matched to your
camera model, connect the 2.5mm end to the
camera port on your Genie, and the other end
to the remote input on your camera.
