Chapter 2: Hardware Setup
Start Up Your DiskStation

Snap the provided plug adapter to the AC power adapter. Note that the plug adapter that comes with your
DiskStation varies depending on your region. The image below is for reference only.

Connect one end of the AC power adapter to the power port of the DiskStation. Connect the other end to a
power outlet.

Connect at least one LAN cable to one of the LAN ports of the DiskStation. Connect the other end to your
switch, router, or hub.
