mailq
can generate a heavy
load on Solaris computers. The following metrics may fail
to execute in the specified timeout if you use the
mailq
command:

SMTP Server - Mail Queue Size Solaris

SMTP Server - Number of Deferred Messages Solaris
The load may be caused by the wrong configuration of FQDN
on the server.
The command
mailq
should not be
used in certain metrics. It can generate
a heavy load
