Operation
a) Assembly

• Remove the product from its packaging and place all components on a clean,
flat surface (e.g. a table).
•
Unscrew the tommy screw (14) from the bottom of the standpipe on the
telescopic stand (9).
• Insert the stand weight (12) into the base. Ensure that the weight is inserted in
the correct position.
•
Insert the profile disc (13) into the stand with the curved part pointing upwards.
•
Screw the tommy screw back into the standpipe through the weight and profile
disc. Ensure that you screw the parts together tightly so that the fan will not
move during use.

•
Remove the four screws (5) from the motor unit using a Phillips screwdriver.
• Place the rear protective grille (6) onto the motor unit on the side of the rotor shaft
and align the grille with the screw holes. The carry handle should point upwards
to ensure that it can be used to carry the fan.
• Replace the four Phillips screws and screw them into place using a Phillips
screwdriver to secure the grille to the motor unit.

• After attaching the rear grille (6), place the rotor blade (3) onto the rotor shaft and
secure the rotor blade to the notch on the side by tightening the locking screw (4)
with a Phillips screwdriver. Tighten the screw properly so that the rotor will not
become loose during use.
• Place the front grille (1) onto the rear grille and screw the grilles together using
the Phillips screw and nut. The screw holes on both grilles must be aligned with
each other. Close the hinged locks to secure the grilles in place.
Do not attempt to bend or deform the protective grille during assembly, otherwise the rotor
blade may not be able to rotate freely.
Check that the rotor blade can rotate freely when the product is turned off (turn it with your
hand).

• To connect the telescopic stand (9) to the fan unit, place the fan unit onto
the upper end of the stand. Ensure that you insert the fan unit in the correct
orientation. The knurled screw (18) must fit into the hole on the telescopic stand
and press against it to ensure a secure fit.
• Insert the supporting screw (17) through the square hole on the fork until it
protrudes from the other side of the stand. Then screw the knurled screw (18)
through the thread on the fork to attach it to the stand. Use a Phillips screwdriver
to screw the Phillips screw (19) into the other side of the fork and the hole on the
stand, ensuring that it is tightened properly.
• Screw the supporting screw to the tightening wheel (16). Ensure that the cap on
the tightening wheel is properly secure and that it will not fall off.
• Tighten the knurled screw (18) to secure the stand to the fan unit and ensure that
both parts are aligned properly.
b) Mounting location
•
Carry the product using the handle on the top of the front grille (1). Place the fan with the base (11) on a
dry, clean, horizontal and secure surface.
c) Turning the fan on/off and adjusting the fan speed and oscillation setting
•
Connect the mains cable with the mains plug (15) to a suitable mains socket.
•
Control the fan using the rotary switch (7). The fan is turned off when the switch is set to 0. Turn the rotary
switch in a clockwise direction to turn on the fan and use the lowest fan speed (setting I).
•
Move the rotary switch to the next setting to increase the fan speed.
•
Move the rotary switch in an anticlockwise direction to lower the fan speed.
- Setting I: low fan speed
- Setting II: medium fan speed
- Setting III: high fan speed
• To turn off the fan, move the rotary switch to "0".
•
To adjust the height of the fan, loosen the height adjusting knob (10) and slide the stand up or down.
Tighten the height adjusting knob when you have finished adjusting the height.
•
To change the direction of the air flow, press the oscillation switch (8). The fan head will move back and
forth horizontally to direct the air flow to different areas of the room.
• Pull the oscillation switch to disable the oscillation feature. The fan will stop moving.
•
You can adjust the direction of the air flow manually by holding the protective grille and moving it up or
down. The maximum swing angle is 75° in both directions.
Care and cleaning
a) General information
• Turn off the fan before cleaning or servicing and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Wipe the fan components regularly with a dry dust cloth (including the protective grilles (1, 6) and the
base (11)).
• If you are not going to use the product for a long time, cover it and store it in a dry location away from
direct sunlight.
•
Check whether any screws have become loose on a regular basis. If necessary, tighten the screws with a
screwdriver (caution: always turn off the fan and unplug it from the mains!).
b) Cleaning the rotor blade and protective grille
Danger of injury! The rotor blade has sharp edges.
•
If a significant amount of dust accumulates on the rotor blade, disassemble the fan by following the steps
in "Assembly" in the reverse order.
•
Before disassembling the fan, place it on its back.
•
Open the protective grille: loosen the hinged locks and remove the fixing screw (2) from the bottom using
a suitable Phillips screwdriver. You can now separate and remove the front and rear protective grilles.
• The front and rear protective grilles (1, 6) and the rotor blade (3) can be wiped clean using a damp cloth.
• Dry all components carefully after cleaning and before reassembly.
•
Proceed in reverse order to reassemble the fan. Secure the protective grilles in place using the fixing
screw (2) and nut. The screw holes on the protective grilles must be aligned with each other.
•
Close the hinged locks.
