Intended use
The product is to be used indoors as a fan. Fan speed and thus the deliv-
ered air volumes can be adjusted continuously by a rotary knob.
To operate the fan, connect it to a mains socket with protective earth
contact (220 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz).
The product may be installed and used only in dry, enclosed conditions
indoors.
Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating in-
structions. Read the operating manual carefully; keep it in a safe place or
pass it on to other users of the table fan.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this
product and involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No
part of the product may be modified or converted!

Damages due to failure to follow these operating instructions will
void the warranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage
caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions. In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
a) General
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is
not permitted for safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/
disassemble! Contains no customer-serviceable parts.
Maintenance, adjustment or repair work may only be carried out
by an expert/authorised service centre, which is familiar with the
hazards involved and the relevant regulations.
• The product is designed according to protection class I. The prod-
uct may only be operated if connected to a proper socket with
protective earth contact 220 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz) of the public elec-
tricity supply grid.
Check before connecting it to the mains, whether the connection
values on the type plate of the product match those of your home
power supply.
• The outlet socket used for the connection of the table fan must be
located in direct proximity to the product and be easily accessible.
Alternatively, an all-pole cut-off device must be available to dis-
connect from the mains voltage (e.g., an RCD).
• This product is not intended to be used by the persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised
or have been instructed by the person responsible for their safety
as to how the appliance should be used.
• To protect children from the hazards posed by an electrical appli-
ance, make sure that the appliance is never left unattended. For
this purpose, find a storage place for the appliance, which cannot
be accessed by children. Make sure that the cord does not hang
down.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since
this may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts,
blows, or accidental falls, even from a low height.
b) Installation location
• Only place the product on a level, stable and sufficiently large sur-
face.
• Never place or use the product directly next to a heat source.
• The product may be used in dry, enclosed indoor areas only; it
must not get damp or wet! Never set up the product in the direct
vicinity of a bathroom, shower, bathtub or similar. There is a risk of
a life-threatening electric shock!
• Do not use the fan in the vicinity of an open window to avoid the
possibility of short circuit caused by dripping or rain water.
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of chil-
dren. Position the product so it is out of the reach of children. Chil-
dren need supervision to prevent the product being used as a toy.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct
sunlight or strong vibrations.
• The power cord must not be pinched or damaged by contact with
sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the cord, and do not al-
low it to become kinked. Protect the mains cord from sharp edges.
Install the cable where no one can stumble over it and the plug is
easily accessible. Do not install the mains cable under carpets or
the like.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high
levels of dust, flammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a
danger of fire and explosion!
