Class properties

A class has the following general properties:

changing it's structure

Set of instances that share the same operations,

Visibility of the class, whose value denotes how it
may be seen and used by other objects

Cardinality

Specific number of instances that the class can have

—

Persistence

Lifetime of the instances of a class. An object can be
persistent or transient. If it is persistent, it continues
to exist after the process that created it has ceased to
exist. If it is transient, then it ceases to exist when
the process that created it ceases to exist

—

Abstract

Indicates that the class cannot be instantiated and
therefore has no direct instances

—

Final

Specifies that the class cannot have any inherited
objects

—

Generate

Indicates that the class will be automatically
included among the objects generated from the
model when you launch the generation process

—

A class definition also includes the following properties, which are defined
on associated property sheets:
