3.4 PRECAUTIONS WHEN DRIVING:
1. The scooter is a means of transportation for recreational use. Driving experience is neces-
sary to ride safely. Scotex Scooters is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by
improper riding or failure to follow instructions.
If all instructions and warnings in this manual are followed, the risk of injury can be signifi-
cantly reduced, but not completely eliminated. When using the scooter, there is always a risk
of loss of control, accidents and falls. When used on public roads, local laws and regulations
(StVo) must always be observed. As with other vehicles, higher speed results in longer bra-
king distance. Heavy braking on slippery surfaces can lead to falls. Please drive carefully and
always keep a
safe distance to other vehicles and participants in road traffic. 3.
3. please always wear a recognized and appropriate bicycle or skateboard helmet to protect
your head in the event of a fall.
4. The first ride on the scooter should be done away from children, pedestrians, pets, vehicles
and other obstacles and potential hazards.
5. Please always give pedestrians the right of way. When approaching a pedestrian from be-
hind, be sure to give adequate notice and reduce speed to walking pace. Please obey applica-
ble rules and laws at all times.
6. the safety instructions in this document serve as a guideline when you are on private
property and the rules of the road traffic regulations do not apply. Scotex-Scooters is not
responsible for any damages, injuries, accidents or lawsuits resulting from violation of these
safety instructions.
The scooter should only be driven by persons who have read these instructions. If you allow
others to ride your scooter, their safety is your responsibility. Help first-time users until they
are familiar with how to ride the scooter.
8.Before each ride, please make sure that the scooter and its components are in good wor-
king order. If the scooter makes any unusual sounds or an alarm is triggered, stop immedia-
tely and contact your dealer.
9. Always be alert when operating the scooter. Ride with foresight to anticipate potential
hazards, obstacles and changing road conditions.
