Dialling phone numbers from the phone book
There must be phone numbers stored in the phone book.
The telephone is provided with an alphabetical
name search function.
Enter the first letters of the name you require. To find Henry", for example,
press 4" twice. The result of the search appears when the first matching
entry is found.

Baby call (direct dialling)
If you have activated the Baby Call function, a programmed phone number
is dialled when any button on the handset is pressed (except the Menu
button). Enter the required phone number after having activated the func-
tion.
If you want to dial another number, you must deactivate the Baby
Call function first.
Internal calls
Making internal calls
In order to be able to make free internal calls, two or more handsets (HS1,
HS2, ...) of the type DFX73XX must be registered on the respective base
station.

Alternatively to scrolling up and down, you can call the other
handset directly by simply dialling the 1−digit phone number.

Transferring external calls internally
A call is taking place between HS1 and an external caller:

Holding a call / brokering
While an external call is in progress, it is possible to dial another internal
handset in order to consult with someone. The external caller is put on
hold while you converse with the second, internal person called. You can
switch between the callers as often as necessary.
