Navigating in the menu
All the functions can be accessed via the various menus. Refer to the menu
structure to find how to access the respective functions;
Open the main menu

Select the required submenu
Open the submenu
or
Move to and select the required function
Open the function
or
Move to and select the required setting
Use the digit keys to enter numbers or
letters
Confirm the input
Move one level back
Cancel programming and saving
processes and return to Standby mode
Every process is automatically cancelled if there is no input within 30
seconds.

The way in which to navigate through the menus and enter data is explained by
means of the example in
Creating phone book entries
. Proceed as in this
example for all the settings.
Open the phone book

Select the function and confirm

Enter the phone number (max. 20 digits)
and confirm it

Enter the name

(max. 12 characters)
and confirm it

Letters are also imprinted on the digit keys. Letters, digits and special charac-
ters are entered by pressing the relevant key the respective number of times.
Use the Star button to switch between upper and lower case.
