Base station settings

Changing the PIN code

The PIN code is a 4-digit secret number to protect your telephone from unauthorised use.

At factory, the PIN code is initially set to “0000”.

Open the menu by pressing the Menu key.

Select

Select

Enter the current PIN code (factory setting “0000”) and press the Menu key,
enter a new code and press the Menu key. Enter your code again and press
the Menu key.

Note

• Only authorised service staff can reset the PIN code. Thus make sure that

you do not forget your PIN code.

• If you enter a wrong PIN code, the display shows

.

Wait a few seconds after which you are requested to re-enter the correct
code.
