Factory settings for the handset
The phone book and the handset name are not deleted when you reset
the handset.

Press MENU , select Handset Set and press OK .

Select Default Set and press OK .

Enter the handset PIN (factory setting: 0000).

Select Handset Settings and press OK for confirmation.

Select the desired language and press OK to confirm.
Area-Code
This setting is needed for reading from the SIM-Card and adapting to the
Swiss network. If you have a country code on the SIM-Card it will be replaced
by a 0 (zero). If you have a foreign number with “+” this will be replaced
by 00 (two zero’s). The phone’s default setting is prepared for the Swiss network.

Press MENU , select Settings and press OK .

Select Handset Settings and press OK for confirmation.

Select Area-Code and press OK .

Select the Country-Code , Int. Prefix or Nat. Prefix and press OK .

Enter the Number needed and press OK to store.
Changing the handset PIN
To protect the handset settings from unauthorized access you should change
the handset PIN (factory setting: 0000) to a PIN that only you know.

Press MENU , select Settings and press OK .
ó
Select Handset Settings and press OK for confirmation.
ó
Select Handset PIN and press OK .
ó
Enter the current handset PIN (factory setting: 0000).
ó
Enter the new handset PIN (4 digits).
ó
Re-enter the new handset PIN to verify. If match the new handset PIN is saved.
