Deactivating the baby monitor remotely

Prerequisites

: The baby monitor alarm is forwarded to an external destination number. The

recipient's phone supports tone dialling.

Accept the baby monitor alarm and press the

The call is ended. The baby monitor is deactivated and the handset is in idle status.

Caution

Ensure the following points:

u

The handset should be positioned 1 to 2 metres away from the baby. The microphone
must be pointed towards the baby.

u

Activating the function reduces the operating time of your handset. If necessary, place
the handset in the charger.

u

The baby monitor is activated 20 seconds after switching on.

Please always check the functionality when you switch on:

u

Test the sensitivity.

u

Check the connection if you are forwarding the baby monitor alarm to an external num-
ber.

u

Make sure that the answer machine at the target number is switched off.

u

Please note that the room monitor (baby monitor) does not operate in exceptional cases,
e.g. if the specific number of the user is busy, the specific mobile number of the user has
no reception, in the event of a power cut to the mains power supply or if the battery is
empty.
