Inserting the batteries
•
Switch the camera on.
•
Slide open the cover of the battery compartment.
•
Insert 2 AA batteries in the camera following the indications for the + and – terminals.
•
Close the battery compartment cover.
Inserting and removing an SD card
•
Switch the camera off.
•
Slide open the cover of the battery compartment.
•
Insert the SD card (max. 256 MB) in the slot until it clicks. Press the card again to remove it.
•
Close the battery compartment cover.
Taking photographs (basic principles)
1. Switch the camera on (the green LED on the back will flash when the on/off button is pressed).
2. Select the desired option in “Mode Dial”. (Still Image, Movie clip, Night Scene, Photo Frame)
3. Set the focus button to the correct option to set the desired focal length.

Macro: 0.2m
•
Normal: 1.0m - infinity
4 . Press the shutter release button down fully to take a photo.
5. The LED begins to flash as soon as the shutter release button is released.
