Installation
Installation of the AGP Card is done in 6 steps:
• Disconnect the power from your computer and remove all cables connected to your computer
• Ensure you are free of static electricity, this can be done by touching the bare metal of an earthed object such as a
central heating pipe or water tap
• Open your computer, if you are unsure how to do this, consult your computer’s operating or service manual.
• Locate a free AGP slot and if necessary remove the chassis back plate for the slot.
• Insert the card straight into the slot as indicated in the picture below. Avoid touching any of the card’s golden
contact pins:
• Use a screw to secure the card’s bracket to your computer’s chassis. Note that some computers may use other
means of securing the card in place.
