Do not

drop heavy objects on hose. A sharp

impact may cause internal damage to hose wire
strands. Applying pressure to a damaged hose

may cause it to rupture.

IMPORTANT:

Do not lift hydraulic equipment by

the hoses or swivel couplers. Use the carrying
handle or other means of safe transport.

CAUTION: Keep hydraulic equipment away from
flames and heat.

Excessive heat will soften

packings and seals, resulting in fluid leaks. Heat

also weakens hose materials and packings. For optimum
performance

do not

expose equipment to temperatures of

65°C [150°F] or higher. Protect hoses and cylinders from
weld spatter.

DANGER: Do not handle pressurized hoses.

Escaping oil under pressure can penetrate the skin,
causing serious injury. If oil is injected under the

skin, see a doctor immediately.

WARNING:

Only use consoles in a coupled

system.

WARNING:

Do not use hoses, fittings, or couplers

with pressure ratings below 10,000 psi [700 bar].
Equipment with inadequate pressure rating can fail

and cause personal injury, property or equipment damage.

CAUTION:

To avoid personal injury, do not use

electric consoles in an explosive atmosphere.
Adhere to all local and national electrical codes.

CAUTION:

To help prevent console failure, check

reservoir fluid prior to console operation. If fluid
level is low, add oil. Always be sure tools are fully

retracted before adding fluid to the reservoir.

CAUTION:

To prevent damage to console electric

motor, check specifications and motor plate data.

CAUTION:

To prevent oil spillage, tighten vent/fill

plug when shipping or storing console.

3.0  SPECIFICATIONS — See table below.

4.0  INSTALLATION

1.

Check oil level in reservoir. Oil level should be 1 inch
below vent/fill plug opening. If necessary, add
hydraulic oil to bring oil level up to 1 inch below the
vent/fill opening.

NOTE:

Use only approved hydraulic oil. Use of any other

oils or fluids may damage console or seals and will
void the warranty on your console.

2.

Vent reservoir by turning vent/fill plug 1 to 2 turns
counter-clockwise from fully closed position

.

3.

Be sure the electrical power source is the correct one
for your console. See specification table for electrical
power source specification.
