How to Use
Before first use
Remove all packaging
It is important to ensure the correct plug adaptor is used when
operating in a country not using the UK 13 Amp socket system. If in
doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
It is important that you select the correct voltage on the base for
your location. 120V or 230V before connecting to the mains supply
Lift the lid and fill the kettle with water. Close the lid firmly after filling.
Check that the water level is between the MIN and MAX lines on the
water gauge.
TIP: Use one of the cups prodived to fill the kettle for
more accurate measurement.
PLEASE DO NOT OVERFILL THE KETTLE PAST THE MAX LEVEL.
DOING SO POSES A SCALDING RISK.
Connect the plug to the mains supply and press the power switch
down
The kettle will switch itself off once the water has boiled
If this is the first time you have used the kettle, discard the water
from the first boiling.
IMPORTANT: If you need to reboil the kettle, you will need to wait
a few minutes for the thermostat to cool and reset the power
switch.
