2. Cleaning / Changing the inlet filter:
z
The filter should be cleaned at least twice a year or when it becomes
visibly solid.
z
Always operate the cleaner with the filter installed, otherwise reduced
suction or motor damage may occur.
z
Disconnect from the electrical outlet, before cleaning the filter.
z
Do not use a washing machine to wash / rinse the filter.
z
Do not use a hair drier to dry it.
z
Allow 24 hrs to air dry before refitting the filter.
1. Remove the dust bag as described in the previous section.
2. The filter is located behind the dust bag. Lift out the filter.
3. Either rinse or replace the filter. If you decide to rinse, wash in luke-warm
water and allow the filter to air dry completely before refitting.
4. Refit the filter and bag ensuring the bag is correctly located.
