APPENDIX A – Setting up Gmail Account

Sometimes your email account cannot be used for sending motion email alerts out from your DVR
system automatically. This is usually because the email system cannot process the email
correctly.

You can use a free Gmail account as a post office to send out your alert emails.

Firstly, you will need to go to

www.gmail.com

and setup an account. After you have setup your

account, you can log in and get it ready to send out your emails.

From the main page, click ‘Settings’.
