O P E R AT I O N
1. The device starts after a short press of the trigger.
2. The target laser is turned on or off by pressing the triggerwhile pressing the „Lock“ key.
3. To take a measurement, hold down the trigger and aim the Laser point appeared on the object
to be measured. The temperature measured at the target point will now be shown on the dis-
play. As soon as the trigger is released, the device shuts off automatically after 20 seconds.
4. By pressing the „° C / ° F“ key, you can switch between the temperature unitsswitch. The unit is
always shown on the display.
5. The backlight turns on or off by pulling the trigger
Hold down and simultaneously press the „° C / ° F“ key.
6. Make a permanent measurement by pressing the „LOCK“ button.
The display changes from „Hold“ to „Lock“. In this mode the device does not switch off after 20
seconds.
7. The set level of e-emission is displayed in the lower part of the display -
Example: E 0.90. Emissivity must be set for each measured material to be able to provide a
correct measurement result. Press the „MODE“ button to change the emissivity. Pressing the „°
C / ° F“ or „LOCK“ buttons increases or decreases the emissivity. Press „Mode“ again to save the
set value.
P R O B L E M S
The thermometer does not turn on - Check the batteries.
BAT appears on the display - Check the batteries
Dashes on the display - The maximum temperature has been exceeded
The display flashes - The batteries need to be changed soon.
The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the handle on the inside.
