5. PREPARATION AND OPERATION
Speaker placement
•
Place the device in an easy-to-use place for a user.
•
Place the MSS far away from monitors and TV sets, as insigni

cant image distortion in these
supersensitive devices is possible.
MSS connecting
PS-100BL speaker system can be connected to virtually any audio source: PC, notebook,

players, mobile devices etc. (see connection diagram in Fig. 2 and 3)

Before use, the built-in battery in the speaker system must be charged. Connect DC 5V jack

with USB port of a computer or 5V DC power unit using USB cable (included). During connection to
an external power source, the charging mode indicator

will light red. Upon the battery charging
completion the indicator
d
will change the light color to green.

To connect the MSS to PC,

3/CD players via AUX IN jack

use the mini-jack to mini-jack
signal cable (included). For this purpose insert mini jack of the signal cable into the jack

the second mini jack into the sound card linear output of a PC or MP3/CD player (see Fig. 2).

When connecting to a sound source via Bluetooth, it is necessary to ful

procedure with an audio signal source (see Fig. 3).

Bluetooth mode
This mode is active in the absence of connected jack in AUX IN jack

For the signal transmission in this mode it is necessary

rst to interconnect the MSS with a signal
source long pressing, more than 2 sec the button

. The MSS will go to the search mode, the
indicator

will start blinking blue color frequently (2-4 Hz) (Bluetooth searching) and the MSS will
beep the con
fi
rmation signal. Then on the signal source (telephone, smartphone, etc.) choose the
search mode of devices with Bluetooth. The name of the MSS “SVEN PS-100BL” will be displayed
on the signal source screen, with which you need to intercommunicate*. Select this device and the
“connect” command.

When the connection is successful, the MSS will beep the con
fi
rmation signal and the indicator
a
on the front panel will reduce the blinking frequency (~1 Hz).
•
To switch the MSS to the search mode you can also press long the button

(or to switch o
ff
the
MSS and then to switch on it once again).
*
If the MSS has been already listed in the device list of the signal source, then the second activation of the
search mode is not required. Select only this device and the “connect” command.
