5. PREPARATION AND OPERATION
Speaker placement
•
Place the satellites symmetrically to the listener at the distance not less than one meter.
•
Place MSS far away from monitors and TV sets, as insignificant image distortion in these super-
sensitive devices is possible. We recommend that the subwoofer should be placed on the table.
Installation and operation guide
WARNING! All the components should be switched off before connection.
•
Connect the built-in audio cables to the audio outputs on the rear panel of subwoofer (see Fig. 2).
Note that the red RCA-jack on the right speaker should be connected to subwoofer red terminal and
the white RCA-jack of the left speaker – to the white terminal of the subwoofer AUDIO OUTPUT R/L.
•
Insert the mini-jack of the stereo signal cable into the AUDIO INPUT of the subwoofer, and the other
mini-jack into the Ø 3.5 mm LINE OUT port of your computer sound card or the audio output of your
CD or MP3 player, as shown in Fig.2.
•
Plug the power cord

(Fig. 1) on the subwoofer rear panel into a mains outlet.

Set the master volume to its minimum by turning the VOLUME knob

counterclockwise until it stops.

Turn the power supply on with the POWER switch

(ON position) on the subwoofer rear panel. The

Turn on your audio source.

Adjust the master volume with the VOLUME knob

. To increase the volume, turn the knob clockwise;
to reduce the volume, turn it counterclockwise.
