FAAC and Genius Programming
Important! Ensure that the remote being copied from is the master.
1. Press any button. The LED should emit a double flash.
2. Hold button 1 and press button 2 four times.
3. Place the original remote at the head of the universal remote about 2-3
cm in distance.
4. Press and hold the desired original remote-control button until the
universal remote switches to a constant light and then emits a double
flash every 2 seconds.
5. Prepare the FAAC/Genius remote control for sending the seed code by
simultaneously pressing button 2 and 3.
6. While the FAAC/Genius LED is flashing, place it in front of the universal
remote, 2-3 cm away. The press the button to copy until remote led
begins flashing quicker for confirmation of code copy.
V2 Programming
1. Hold button 1 and press button 2 four times. Then release both buttons.
a. The LED of the universal remote will flash quickly every 2
seconds
2. Place the original remote in front of the universal remote about 2-3 cm
away.
3. Press and hold the desired button of the original remote until the remote
light is constant on and then emits a double flash every 2 seconds.
4. Press and hold the same button on the original remote once again
a. Now the LED will flash quickly.
5. Press the desired button on the universal remote for copying until the
LED turns off.
6. Use the AMC procedure to pair the new remote with the receiver.
