Close the throttle and apply the brake when
taking the motorcycle off the centre stand.
Open the throttle grip toward you and the
motorcycle will start moving forward.

STOPPING AND PARKING

1. Twist the throttle grip away from yourself

to close the throttle completely.

2. Apply the front and rear brakes evenly

and at the same time.



WARNING

Sudden side winds, which can occur
when being passed by larger vehicles, at
tunnel exits or in hilly areas, can upset
your control.

Reduce your speed and be alert to side
winds.



WARNING

Inexperienced riders tend to underuti-
lize the front brake. This can cause
excessive stopping distance and lead to
a collision. Using only the front or rear
brake can cause skidding and loss of
control.

Apply both brake levers evenly and at
the same time.



WARNING

Hard braking while turning may cause
wheel skid and loss of control.
