“41” (P0230-H/L) FP CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
INSPECTION
NOTE:
After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.

Step 1 (When indicating 41:)
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Lift up the fuel tank by removing the fuel tank mounting bolt.

3) Check the FP coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then check the fuel pump. (

DETECTED CONDITION
POSSIBLE CAUSE
41
No voltage is applied to fuel pump.
• FP circuit open or short
• FP malfunction
• ECM malfunction

Voltage is applied to fuel pump although
FP circuit is shut.
• FP circuit shorted to power source

No voltage is applied to fuel pump
although FP circuit is normal.

When using the multi circuit tester, do not strongly touch the terminal of the ECM coupler with
a needle-point probe to prevent the terminal damage or terminal bend.
