6 LT-R450/ZK9 (’09-MODEL)

OIL JET

REMOVAL

• Separate the left and right crankcase. (



LT-R450K8 3-22)

• Remove the piston cooling oil jet

from the right crankcase.

INSPECTION AND CLEANING

• Check the oil jet for clogging.
• If they are clogged, clean their oil passage with a proper wire

and compressed air.

INSTALLATION

• Apply engine oil to the O-ring



• Install the piston cooling oil jet

• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK to the piston cooling

oil jet bolt, and then tighten the bolt.



99000-32110: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1322”

or equivalent

Use a new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
