6.2 Electronic Description
The electronics consist of:
• a central processing unit (CPU) board,
• a power supply unit (PSU) board located under the CPU board,
• a serial interface SI 2, for connection of a PC,
• an RD/AUX interface to enable some of the accessories to be
connected.
6.3 CPU Board
The CPU board is controlled by an 8-bit micro controller, IC3.
An 11.0592 MHz crystal supplies the micro controller with its clock
frequency.
All inputs and outputs are ESD protected. Some outputs have filters
to reduce the amount of electromagnetic emissions.
