3. To set one of these items as a shortcut, select the item and short press

. If you
do not want to change the shortcuts, press
Start/Data
to return to the Sailing
display.
NOTE:
When you set a new shortcut in the Sailing Data display, the same shortcut is
also displayed in the Navigation and the Racing modes.
3.5.2 Function Menu

3.5.3 Tracking
The tracking function stores the vessel’s position heading and speed in the Suunto M9i
memory between a selected time period. You can only set the tracking function on or
off. If you wish to alter the time period, you need to do it in the Suunto Sail Manager
software.
NOTE:
When tracking is on and the GPS is activated, an indicator is displayed in the
middle of the lower horizontal dotted line of the display.
To set the tracking function on or off:
1. In the Set menu, scroll to
Tracking
and short press
Enter
.
The On/Off field is activated.
2. Change the setting to
On
or
Off
with the arrow buttons and
short press
Enter
. The tracking is now set.
