Memory Support
The X10SAE supports up to 32 GB of Unbuffered ECC/Non-ECC DDR3-1600/1066
MHz memory in four DIMM slots. For the latest memory updates, please refer to
our website.
For memory to work properly, follow the tables below for the correct order of populat-
ing the DIMM slots. See the serverboad layout page for slot numbering.

Be sure to use memory modules of the same type, same speed, same
frequency. Mixing of memory modules of different types and speeds is
not allowed.
•
Due to memory allocation to system devices, the amount of memory that
remains available for operational use will be reduced when 4 GB of RAM
is used. The reduction in memory availability is disproportional. See the
following table for details.
