5-11 Onboard Indicators

LAN1/LAN2 LEDs

The Ethernet ports (located beside the COM

port) have two LEDs. On each Gb LAN port,

one LED indicates activity when blinking

while the other LED may be green, amber or

off to indicate the speed of the connection.

See the table on the right for the functions

associated with the connection speed LED.

There are two LEDs associated with the

Infi niBand connection: LEB1and LEB2. The

green LED (LEB1) is the Infi niBand Link LED

and the yellow LED (LEB2) indicates activity.

LE2 ia a BMC Heartbeat LED. When LE2 is

blinking, the BMC (Baseboard Management

Controller) is functioning normally. See the

table at right for more information.
