PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse
Ports
The ATX PS/2 keyboard and the
PS/2 mouse are located on J11.
See the table on the right for pin
definitions. (The mouse port is
above the keyboard port. See Fig-
ure 2-3.)

Fan Headers*
The motherboard has two CPU/
C h a s s i s , t w o C h a s s i s a n d o n e
Overheat/Chassis fan headers.

Serial Ports
The COM1 serial port is located
under the parallel port (see Figure
2-3). See the table on the right for
pin definitions. The COM2 connec-
tor is a header located near the
DIMM#4 slot on the motherboard.

LAN (Ethernet) Ports
Two Ethernet ports are located
beside the VGA port on the IO
backplane. These ports accept
RJ45 type cables. See the next
section for a description of the
LEDs on the LAN ports.
Note: The P4DE8/P4DEI has two Gb
LAN ports. The P4DEE has a
single 100 Mb LAN port. (See Fig-
ure 2-3.)
