Chapter 4: Phoenix BIOS

Base I/O Address

This setting allows you to select the base I/O address for the parallel

port. The options are 378, 278 and 3BC.

Interrupt

This setting allows you to select the IRQ (interrupt request) for the

parallel port. The options are IRQ5 and IRQ7.

Mode

This setting allows you to specify the parallel port mode. The options

are Output, Bi-directional, ECP and EPP.

DMA Channel

This setting allows you to specify the DMA channel. The options are

DMA1 and DMA3.

Floppy Disk Controller

This setting allows you to assign control of the floppy disk controller.

The options are Enabled (user defined), Disabled, Auto (BIOS controlled)

and OS Controlled.

Base I/O Address

This setting allows you to select the base I/O address for the Floppy

port. The options are Primary and Secondary.
