Chapter 2: Installation
Power Button
The Power Button connection is located on pins 1 and 2 of JFP1. Momentarily contacting
both pins will power on/off the system. This button can also be configured to function as a
suspend button (with a setting in the BIOS - refer to
). To turn off the power when
the system is in suspend mode, press the button for four seconds or longer. Refer to the
table below for pin definitions.
Reset Button
The Reset Button connection is located on pin 3 of JFP1. Attach it to a hardware reset switch
on the computer case to reset the system. Refer to the table below for pin definition.

BMC_UID_LED
Connect an LED cable to BMC_UID_LED connection on pin 4 of JFP1 to provide front UID
LED indication and warnings of overheating or fan failure. Refer to the table below for pin
