Appendix E: Configuring VROC RAID Settings

The feature, Mark as Spare, allows the user to set the selected NVMe device as a spare 
disk. Use the arrow keys to select Mark as Spare and press <Enter>. The following screen 
will appear. The options are 

Yes

 and No.

Note:

 A spare disk is used for automatic RAID volume rebuilds when status of failed, 

missing, or at risk is detected on the array disk. For a RAID0 volume, only status of 
at risk will trigger automatic RAID volume rebuilds.
